The Kansas State Championship Returns to Powder Creek
After a brief absence, the Kansas State Cowboy Action Shooting Championship is returning to our newly renovated range at Powder Creek Shooting Park. After nearly 2 years of renovations, The Powder Creek Cowboy’s Range now boasts seven indoor stages, electrical service for cooling fans, lighting, and more. We have invested in new props and steel to allow for even more challenging stages.
Our redesigned loading and unloading tables allow for a more streamlined flow for each stage. Moving all the stages inside our newly renovated buildings allow for more boardwalk space out of the summer sun, and better viewing angles for shooters and spectators alike.
We believe we have built one of the premier cowboy action shooting venues in the midwest and we hope you will agree.

A Few Guidelines for the Match
- Application must be received by May 20. No refunds after May 20.
- SASS rules apply.
- A current SASS membership is required to participate in this event.
- RV parking space must be reserved in advance. RVs will be assigned parking spaces.
- There are no power or water hookups for RVs at the range.
- Range rules require minimum .32 caliber for ALL shooters (no .22s allowed on our range)
