The premier cowboy action shooting match in the Kansas City Area is now even better! With three days of events and matches along with a brand new indoor banquet venue, The Powder Creek Cowboys are taking the fun up another notch! Join us at our redesigned range where there are lights and fans in every stage. Furthermore, we have some surprises planned for the range to ensure a smooth match with even more fun scenarios to shoot.
After last year’s change of date, we are back to our normal dates in June. Make your travel plans today to ensure you do not miss out on what is expected to be one of the most fun events of the summer.
Our New Banquet Venue!
Our Banquet venue is changing for 2024! We have rented out one of the premier venues in Lenexa, KS to hold our banquet this year – The Thompson Barn. The Air conditioned space has an 80 year history in Lenexa. We will also be holding our banquet on Friday Night to allow you to get on the road earlier on Saturday afternoon!

A Few Guidelines for the Match
- Application must be received by May 15. No refunds or Category Changes after May 15.
- SASS rules apply.
- A current SASS membership is required to participate in this event.
- RV parking space must be reserved in advance. RVs will be assigned parking spaces.
- There are no power or water hookups for RVs at the range.
- Range rules require minimum .32 caliber for ALL shooters (no .22s allowed on our range)
